Urban Investigations
Love solving real-world problems? Then we have awesome news for you! Interdisciplinary artist Gamar Markarian is coming to TUMO to lead a learning lab where you will explore unique sites in the city and the urban issues surrounding them, then propose creative ways to improve and develop them.
You will begin by visiting, observing, and researching a place that interests you. Using cameras and recorders, you will document people’s experience in that location and analyze the urban issues related to it.
Next, you will brainstorm creative and innovative solutions for improving them. At the end of the lab, you will present your ideas through video, design and other media platforms.
Prerequisites: Filmmaking II or New Media II or Motion Graphics II or Graphic Design II
The learning lab will take place at TUMO Yerevan from November 19th to 30th, Monday to Friday, 3:30 – 7:30 PM.
