Turning Armenian Letters to Latin
Have you ever wondered about creating latin typefaces, inspired from Armenian typography?
Now you will have a chance to do that and much more! Type design gurus Riccardo De Franceschi and Naima Ben Ayed will be leading a learning lab, where you will learn essentials of latin lettering and typography. You will begin with a research of Armenian applied fonts, which you will use as a base to create a brand new Latin typography. After finalizing your type design ideas, you will implement them on typical Armenian phrases and idioms.
Pre-requisite: Graphic Design II
The learning lab will take place at TUMO Yerevan, from September 17th to 28st, Monday to Friday, 4։00-8։00 PM.
