During Lusine Papoyan and Inna Mkhitaryan’s 2025 AltJuly learning lab, TUMOians in Dilijan explored the city in groups to find its most colorful residents. After filming them, they brought it all together into a complete documentary. Throughout the learning lab, the students mastered the basics of documentary filmmaking, learned the secrets behind capturing the perfect shot, and acquired video editing skills. Their final film recently received Special Mention at the Robert & Ethel Kennedy Human Rights Center’s annual Speak Truth to Power video competition.
