In the summer of 2016, Lebanese illustrator Salim Azzam traveled throughout Armenia with his students as they collected stories from the people, places and events that inspired them. They then took those stories and turned them into colorful and charming illustrations.

Salim Azzam
Salim is a Lebanese storyteller and Illustrator. After completing his Master’s degree in Visual Communication Design in Canada, he returned to Lebanon. Since then he started using his design and illustration skills to document spoken traditional stories and local customs.
