Alex Ulloa from Columbia University is starting a fiction writing lab online. One of the goals of fiction is understanding the mess that is a human being — our emotions, thoughts and feelings.

Together with Alex, you’ll do writing exercises, read stories from all around the world and create narratives driven by characters who make choices that are good, bad, ugly — and entirely human.

Prerequisite: Advanced English

To apply, send a few sentences about yourself to workshops@tumo.org with “Human Fiction” in the subject line.

The learning lab will take place online from June 29th to July 17th; Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 5:30-7:30 pm.

You will need a smartphone or computer and internet to participate in the lab.
