You are surrounded by countless devices that process digital signals. Watches, phones, computers, and even electric guitars use digital signal processing. This January, you will have a chance to explore the world of signal processing and music together with Lara E. Shonkwiler.
Lara studies Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at MIT. During her lab, you will learn more about Python and Numpy programming languages, the human understanding of sound and sound processing itself.
Prerequisites: Programming II or Web Development III
