Game Character Concept Design with Arman Akopian

Ubisoft Senior Concept Artist Arman Akopian came to TUMO to teach a video game concept art lab. The students began by first researching the type of game character they were interested in and then sketched multiple heroes using Photoshop. Afterwards, they had to choose one hero and focus on it to develop its visual character. Each character was also equipped with their own tool or accessory that completed their character’s story. The teens designed and created their own game characters and, in the process, learned the fundamental elements of design and concept art.
