In June 2015, TUMO Yerevan was visited by San Francisco-based food photographer John Lee. A group of TUMOians traveled around Armenia with Lee and photographed the gastronomic excellence they encountered. The group covered all kinds of food photography, from studio to documentary, and visited markets, restaurants and homes in different cities and rural areas of Armenia. They traveled to Gyumri, Dilijan, Zovq, Sevan, Artsakh and other cities and villages, capturing the full spectrum of Armenian cuisine by the end.

John Lee is a San Francisco-based photographer who specializes in gastronomic still life, portraiture and reportage. He has shot numerous cookbooks with celebrity chefs and personalities such as Guy Fieri, Tyler Florence, Richard Blais, and Sunny Anderson. Other clients include Apple Inc., Chronicle Books, Discovery Channel, Food Network, The Guardian Weekend Magazine, Men’s Journal, The Sunday Times Magazine, Time Magazine, etc.
