December 17- 27, Mon. – Sat., 3.30 – 7.30 pm
What is Cybersecurity? How do we define cyber-attacks and cyber-crime? Why is this important? You will find the answers to these and other questions in a cybersecurity lab with Yale University student Roula Sharqawe.
In the modern world, most personal information is floating on the web — and it’s not always secure. During this lab, you will learn how to surf the internet safely and explore network systems from the inside — learning their structure and functions and conducting different experiments. By the end of the lab, you will become familiar with cyber risks and know how to protect yourself in our increasingly digital world.
Prerequisite: Programming I or Web Development III
