Teens in Writing 1 learn to narrate a story, describe actions, events, environment and setting as well as how to create a conflict. The students write short stories using the aforementioned knowledge they have gained.
In the second level, teens will learn to create realistic, grotesque or fantastical characters and experiment with various expressive means. As a result, TUMOians acquire professional skills and learn valuable techniques in various literary genres.
This workshop begins by the students picking their favorite literary genre. From there, they learn to write stories in the fabula method, i.e. out of chronological order, and how to build the plot. The teens then become familiar with modern genres and acquire experimental literary skills and learn how to make their texts more interesting.
