The first level of drawing is spent studying the process of character creation. Teens learn the basics of human anatomy and how to draw motion. By the workshop’s end, students create a model sheet of their character.
During this level, students study perspective and composition rules and how to create a story by frame. By the end, TUMOians create a one-page comic about their character.
The final level of drawing has the students learning about light and color theories along with different Photoshop techniques which they use to finalize their character’s model sheet and one-page comics.
