TUMO is expanding globally and our in-house architecture studio is looking for new team members! If you have extensive international experience or if you’re an architect with an outstanding portfolio and technical skills, take a look at the positions below and join our dynamic team in Yerevan.

Who We Are

With projects from Gyumri and Paris to Berlin and Los Angeles, our team is involved across all phases of the design and construction of education spaces for students all over the world. At TUMO, you’ll find design at every scale: urban design, architecture, interior design and furniture design. We also cover the entire project life cycle from initial concept through construction and deployment.

What We Do

We work with firms like MVRDV, Bernard Khoury / DW5, and Normal Studio to design buildings while also doing in-house concept designs, modeling, and construction management.

Generations of the TUMObile

In addition to collaborating on large-scale projects with international architects, we also work with them to design our own furniture. The TUMObile has traveled all over the world to seat thousands of students worldwide and is adapted based on learning needs - some swing, some hover, and others glide on wheels.

Around the World

In 2021, we were invited to exhibit at the Venice Architecture Biennale, where we showcased the learning spaces of the future. Our work has received the 2019 Europa Nostra Award and won first place in the We Demain Ten Best Schools Worldwide and the 2018 World Congress on Information Technology. We have also been nominated for the Mies Vah der Rohe Award.

The Dream Project

Although we work on a big range of projects, one remains our pride and joy. The TUMO Box is one of our signature in-house designs: an easy-to-deploy satellite facility built out of recycled shipping containers that offers a sustainable and geographically flexible solution to bringing our education program to any location.
