Photographers of TUMO, apply to the TUMOgraphy contest!

Present the best of your work, be evaluated by a jury of professionals, and win prizes that will help you progress your photography skills even further!

Rules

• Both past and present TUMO students from Armenia and Artsakh can participate in the contest.
• Each applicant may submit only one individual project. Group submissions will not be accepted.
• You may apply to the contest with either one photograph, a group of three thematically related photos, or a photo collage.
• Submitted works must surround one of the following themes:
  1. Territory and identity
  2. View from my window
  3. Connection between motherland and diaspora

  Applicants are welcome to interpret the themes in an individual and innovative way.

• Submitted photographs can be of any size, format, and genre, and be taken with any kind of camera.
• All submitted photos (including all photos used in a collage) must be taken by the applicant; winners will be asked to present unedited, raw files of the photos or other proof of authenticity.
• Submitted photos can be taken at any time, as well as be previously submitted to other contests.
• Applications must be submitted online by filling out the form below.

Prizes

Submissions will be evaluated on creativity, technical quality, and skill level - the top three submissions will receive the following prizes.

First place - An internship or educational program abroad with a monetary value equivalent fo $10,000USD

The TUMO team will support in selecting the internship or educational program and will allocate up to $10,000 for air travel, accommodation, transportation, and other expenses related to the program.

Second place - Equipment with a monetary value of $7,500 USD.

Third place - Equipment with a monetary value of $5,000 USD.

Winners will be selected by a jury including members of the TUMO team and experts from the field.
