Build a Web Spider
Do you know that Web Crawlers also known as Web Spiderbot can retrieve almost any data from given web sites? And do you know that Airbnb software engineer Winnie Xiong is heading straight to TUMO to lead a learning lab, where she will help you to build your own Spider in Python?
You will start the lab with Python fundamentals like variables, parameters, classes, objects and more. After you will experiment and implement fundamental parts to gain more knowledge so to code a Spider , which will retrieve the selling prices of books on Amazon based on their ISBN.
Prerequisite: Programming III
The learning lab will take place at TUMO Yerevan from May 24th to June 9th, Monday to Friday, 3.30-7.30 p.m..
