Book as a form of Art
Moscow based graphic designer Kirill Gorbunov is heading to Tumo to lead a learning lab, where you will try to explore the book as a form of art and create a collaborative tour guide dedicated to Yerevan.
During the lab, you will become an author, creator, and writer of the entire publication. You will go to field trips, sketch, make photographs to research culture, history, and traditions, concentrate on working with typography and the visualization of ideas. After you will consider all the steps of book design from paper stock to book exploring bookbinding, its format, various printing materials and find a way how to build a story through using those elements.
Prerequisite: Graphic Design III
The learning lab will take place at TUMO Yerevan from September 23rd to October 4th, Monday to Friday, 15.30 – 19.30.
