15 Years of Impact at Anniversary Gala in Los Angeles

On September 20, 2026, TUMO will host its 15th Anniversary Gala at Vibiana in Los Angeles, bringing together supporters, partners, alumni, and friends of the organization for a milestone evening celebrating 15 years of impact and helping advance the next chapter of TUMO’s work in Armenia.

Founded in Yerevan in 2011, TUMO has grown into a world-class education model designed to prepare young people with the skills and confidence to shape what comes next. TUMO gives teens access to hands-on learning in technology and design, guided by internationally acclaimed industry experts, entirely free-of-charge.

Today, more than 40,000 teens learn through TUMO’s global network each week, including more than 25,000 teens in Armenia. Across the country, TUMO centers and Boxes are expanding access to high-quality education in the regions and rural communities, ensuring that opportunity is not limited by geography or income.

TUMO’s model is built around self-learning, workshops, and project labs across 14 focus areas, including GenAI, programming, robotics, animation, filmmaking, music production, game development, 3D modeling, photography, writing, drawing, graphic design, motion graphics, and web development. Students develop technical and creative skills through portfolio projects, guided by specialists and supported by a learning path that encourages independence, collaboration, and long-term growth.

With more than 100,000 alumni having passed through the program, TUMO’s impact now lives far beyond its classrooms. Its alumni are building companies, shaping creative industries, contributing to Armenia’s economy, and carrying the confidence, discipline, and imagination they developed at TUMO into the world. The 15th Anniversary Gala will celebrate the students, people, partnerships, and ideas that have shaped TUMO’s first 15 years while raising support for the work ahead, including the continued expansion of access across Armenia.
