Animate Armenia
Animator and artist, Sonya Gorya, is coming to TUMO to lead a learning lab. With her guidance, you’ll create a short animated film about Armenia. You’ll try various multimedia techniques, including mixing claymation, collage, video, and hand-drawn animated texts. After researching interesting places and experiences for your film, you’ll dive deep into the animation process. Sonya will teach you the basics of storytelling and about the role of director in creating an exciting story. You’ll be taken through the whole process of making a short video, from concept to final film. At the end of the lab you’ll present a short animated film about Armenia.
Pre-requisite: Animation III
The learning lab will take place at TUMO Yerevan, from September 17th to 28th, Monday to Friday, 3:30 – 7:30 PM.
